This decision was one of the key outcomes of discussions held during a high-level bilateral meeting on Sunday, September 22, 2024, between Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, the Dr. Terrance Drew, and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah. The meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations in New York.
“The talks focused on the outcomes of the CARICOM-Saudi Summit, which was held in October 2023, aiming to deepen bilateral and multilateral cooperation between St. Kitts and Nevis and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The leaders explored avenues for joint action to advance sustainability and enhance resilience in response to global challenges. These discussions reflect both nations’ commitment to reinforcing diplomatic ties and strengthening collaboration across various sectors,” the St Kitts and Nevis Information Service said.
