Top 10 2026 Passport Rankings
A total of 38 countries were ranked among the world’s top ten most powerful passports. While 30 European countries secured places within the top ten rankings, nations from East and Southeast Asia dominated the top positions.
The United States returned to the top 10 after a drop witnessed in 2025 for the first time. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) achieved a strong performance over the past two decades, adding 149 visa-free countries and improving 57 places in the passports rank 2026.
