Antigua’s Oath of Allegiance at Overseas Missions
Following the wave of new changes by many countries’ CBI programs, and in an effort in trying to make the process easier for applicants, Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that 15 of its Overseas Missions have been authorized to administer the Oath of Allegiance.
Below is the list of the 15 Overseas Missions that have been authorized to administer the Oath of Allegiance:
- Antigua and Barbuda High Commission in the United Kingdom
- Embassy of Antigua and Barbuda in Washington
- Embassy of Antigua and Barbuda in Havana
- Embassy of Antigua and Barbuda in Madrid
- Embassy of Antigua and Barbuda in Athens
- Embassy of Antigua and Barbuda in Jordan
- Embassy of Antigua and Barbuda in Lebanon
- Embassies of Eastern Caribbean States to the Kingdom of Morocco
- Antigua and Barbuda Consulate General in Toronto
- Antigua and Barbuda Consulate General in Miami
- Antigua and Barbuda Honorary Consulate in Japan
- Antigua and Barbuda Honorary Consulate in Kuwait
- Antigua and Barbuda Honorary Consulate in Moscow
- Antigua and Barbuda Honorary Consulate in South Korea
- Antigua and Barbuda Honorary Consulate in Turkey
Its CBI Unit advises that all requests for the oath to be sworn or affirmed at Overseas Missions must be forwarded to the Unit.
The established protocol of Licensed Agents communicating with the Unit on behalf of their clients remains in effect for this process.
Below is the list of information that needs to be provided in these requests:
- The Application Number
- Name of all individuals from the application desirous of swearing or affirming the oath (only individuals who have attained the age of 18 are eligible)
- Three possible dates for the individual(s) to swear or affirm the oath. A lead time of at least two weeks is required
- Country of residence if living outside of the jurisdiction of the selected authorized Mission. Travel details including arrival and departure dates to and from their jurisdiction to the Overseas Mission must be provided.
