Program and Benefits of Grenada Citizenship By Investment

The Grenada Citizenship by Investment Program was established in accordance with Act No. 15 of 2013, known as the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Act. The act constitutes that qualified persons can acquire Grenadian citizenship by registration following a financial investment in Grenada. Investment criteria were set as part of this Citizenship by Investment Act.

 

Grenada passport by investment and citizenship are granted to qualified applicants within 3 to 4 months with no residency requirements, making it one of the fastest citizenship programs in the world. Once the applicant is granted their Grenada passport by investment and citizenship, she or he becomes a citizen for life.

Grenada Program Requirements

To obtain Grenada citizenship and passport through investment, applicants must undergo strict due diligence checks, including mandatory interviews for primary applicants and all dependents aged 16 and above. The investment must be made in one of the following options:

 

– A non-refundable contribution to the National Transformation Fund (NTF).

 

– Purchase of real estate in a government-approved project AND payment of applicable government fees.

Steps and Timeline

Step 1: Prequalification of the primary applicant.

 

Step 2: Citizenship Bay and the client enter into a service agreement.

 

Step 3: Advice and assistance are provided to the client with the preparation of documents and government forms.

 

Step 4: The applicant’s file will be complete at this stage, and due diligence fees and government application fees will be due.

 

Step 5: The applicant is then required to transfer the applicable investment amount for the selected option into an approved escrow account in Grenada.

 

Step 6: Citizenship Bay will submit a complete application to the government of Grenada on behalf of the applicant.

Step 7: After the government assesses the applicant’s file and due diligence is completed, an “Approval in Principle” will be issued.

Step 8: Government issues the naturalization certificate/s.

 

Step 9: Grenada passport applications are submitted, and passports will be issued within 1 week.

 

Step 10:Passports and naturalization certificates are delivered to the client. Balance of fees will be due.
