Cyprus

Cyprus, officially the Republic of Cyprus, is an island country in the Mediterranean Sea and a full member of the European Union and the Commonwealth of Nations. Its currency is the euro.

Cyprus is located in the center of the Mediterranean Sea, close to Europe, Asia, and Africa. It is a popular tourist destination due to its stunning beaches, which enjoy over 340 days of sunshine per year, as well as its delicious and fresh food and its historical sites.

Cyprus is also one of the most attractive countries for foreign investors, thanks to its promising markets that are based on its ideal geographic location, its rich culture, its political stability, and its recently discovered natural gas resources.

Nicosia, the largest city in the country, is the political and financial capital of Cyprus. It is home to the headquarters of all Cypriot banks and many international companies, such as PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, and Ernst & Young.
