The Investment Migration Agency (IMA) Grenada has announced the rollout of a new automated Grenada Citizenship Certificate system. This advancement is designed to enhance the agency’s certification issuance process by improving accuracy and reducing turnaround times, ultimately creating a more efficient experience for stakeholders.
Key Features of the New Process:
Automated Certificate Generation:
Citizenship certificates will now be automatically generated through the agency’s Application Processing Software, significantly reducing manual tasks and related delays.
Faster Processing:
By linking the application software directly with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the system will minimize errors and accelerate the overall processing time.
User-Friendly Review:
Local Agents will have a 48-hour window to verify the accuracy and completeness of the draft certificate before it is submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs for approval and signature.
The agency explained that the Statutory Rules and Orders (SR&O) for the new certificate system was officially gazetted on March 7, 2025. However, the official implementation date is pending confirmation by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Additionally, the agency emphasized the following requirements to ensure proper certificate generation:
-
All information in the Saturn system must be accurately updated.

Applicants must adhere to the following photograph standards:
-
