The Saint Lucia Citizenship by Investment (CIP) Unit announced that it will be implementing an applicant interview and identity verification process effective September 4, 2023. This added layer of protection is intended to further safeguard the integrity of the program and ensure that only legitimate applicants are granted citizenship.
The interview process will be conducted by trained specialists using advanced technology to authenticate critical bio-data information and eliminate any information gaps that could potentially exist in the application process. The identity verification process will also include a review of the applicant’s travel history, financial records, and other relevant information.
An additional US$500.00 due diligence fee will be applied to all applications that are subject to the interview and identity verification process. This fee is payable by the main/principal applicant only.
The Saint Lucia CIP Unit is committed to maintaining the highest standards of due diligence and ensuring that the program is only accessible to legitimate applicants.
